On Friday, we joined the whole school for a giant walk to the Pakuranga Sailing Club.
Wanda the Walking School Bus mascot waved us off at school. The weather was beautiful and it was a great day for a stroll. After walking to the park, we had a short rest and walked back to school.
Today we made some Art in small groups. Our focus was to learn to work together in a cooperative way. We used our Empathy GEMS as we discussed our ideas and negotiated with others.
The theme for today was 'Be Bright Be Seen' or Twins and Triplets. Some of the class walked to school and dressed up.
The theme for today was Crazy Hair. Lots of students are walking to school this week to help our fitness and save the environment.
On Friday, many students in the class wore something pink to recognise Pink Shirt Day which helps celebrate diversity and promote positive relationships.
Well done to Oliver and Beau who received certificates at the Kauri Whanau assembly on Friday.

On Monday, Miss Han taught us some Chinese string games. These help us use our hands and follow instructions. It was difficult at first but most people managed to make the parachute pattern. We helped each other when things got tricky.
